For two years, from 2005 - 2007, Victoria Fuller has been working exclusively on a large-scale public sculpture commission, to be installed in the city of Seattle, called Global Garden Shovel. The shovel is 35 feet tall, and the blade measures 7 foot by 8 foot and is constructed from castings and manual replications of indigenous plants and trees from the tropics and northern climates.
